Part 1:Self-Portraits vs. Selfies What are Selfies? Well, Selfies are photos taken by yourself of yourself. What is a Self-Portrait?  It is a portrait of an artist produced by that artist.  Is there a difference between the two, yes there is. Selfies are you holding the camera and taking a picture of yourself. Self-portraits are a picture taking of your whole person or a picture of you doing something you designed. I prefer Self-Portraits because you can do the cool thing you want to do and capture it as a memory. Also you can look back on it and laugh how many times you had to do it to get it right.
