         (A good photo of simplicity) because its background isn't interesting so it forces                                                           the looker to look at the subject which is the person.
                            (A bad photo) because it has no action or very much meaning in it.



                                                      
 (A good photo of rule of thirds) because the subject is off the                                    center of the picture.
      (A bad photo) because the subject is very small.




                     


                      (A good photo of Lines) because it displays beautiful lines in the background
               ( A bad photo) because of the subject being extremely small to be focused on the                                                                                              middle.






               (A good photo of Balance)  because it balances out why the smoke is on the screen.
                 (A bad photo) because you cannot tell what the meaning of the photo really is.     









                          (A good photo of Lines) because without the two lines pointing in to directions                                                         you wouldn't know what he was saluting to.
                                (A bad photo) because we are distracted by the background.












                (A good photo of Avoiding Merges) because we know where everything is heading.
                            (A bad photo) Because the bridge goes out of the screen.
