Africa and Abandoned Theme Park
1. My reaction to what I read on the website was that I thought he made the animals look majestic. I also saw that most of Nick Brandt pictures are black and white pictures of animals. The black and white added to the impact you feel when looking at them. He mostly pictured animals in Africa like elephants, cheetahs, some sort of monkeys, and rhinos.
4. I think the no mergers rule is implied in this photo. Also it could be simplicity cause the elephant is in the dead center of the photo and blocking anything more interesting in the background.
5. He uses Pentax 67 to take his pictures. I think its important because it makes the center of the photo more seen or exposed than all the other picture. It offers a more dramatic effect from a telephoto lens.
6. He is passionate about animals and how man has impacted their roaming land. Humans did a lot to their natural habitat as yellow grass, barely any trees, and bad dirty water. Also he thought he had good pictures so he kept taking them.
7. He is hoping that people would understand that the world isn't only made for humans and do some things that could help them a little. Also after the notice they can take care of them.
8. He said this about his photography " My images are unashamedly idyllic and romantic, a kind of enchanted Africa. They're my elegy to a world that is steadily, tragically vanishing." -Nick Brandt.
9. Nick Brandt was mostly focused on keeping everything in frame. He said every time he takes a picture he scared that a toddler would just come walking through when he actually takes the picture.
10. His process was to make everything in the photo and to look for the perfect timing which is hard he said. He had to take the picture exactly when everyone either took a step of when they landed the step to make it not blurry.
11. Better pictures because he gets everything and all in one picture but it takes a long time. Also he uses superior lenses to take his photos. He possesses a gifted ability to capture magic on film.
12. They look good. They look sad in some ways because of the black and white and the fake animals. It's a convicting look into the destruction the man has caused.

Abandoned Theme Park
1. I would go take photos of the Six Flags in New Orleans. I would like to see all the scary things that are there cause it's been totaled and hit by a hurricane and 17-20 years old. I would also see if the rides are still at least in one piece. Also since it was hit by a hurricane there will be a sad scary vibe to the place. It also had a big roller coaster I would like to see what happened to that.
2.

This a photo that made me interested in Six Flags in New Orleans.
3. First one would be: Pripyat Amusement park
Second: Takakanonuma Greenland
Third: Okpo Land
Fourth: Umoja Children's Park
And lastly: Nara Dreamland
4.

Umoja Children's Park is not documented by anyone
5. I would like to document this place cause it has been abandoned for a long time. There would be all the heat there. It is scary and and weird and i would like to go there because that photo above is what interests me. I want to see what else they have.
6. I couldn't do it cause of my busy life but if i had to i would get tickets to go to Japan. Then i would go to Japan. Also i would bring a tripod and a camera. I would take pictures of the scariest most interesting places. Then I would go back and live the rest of my life.

3. This picture caught my eye. I like this picture cause of the elephant head shape. His temples are supremely curved in showing his wisdom. Also he is drinking and thought that its cool that he/she is snorting water.
